Kim Porterfield – A longtime leader in public affairs, higher education, and civic engagement, Kim has served in leadership roles at Texas State University and as a San Marcos City Council member. She is a strong advocate for education, community service, and policy solutions that create lasting impact.
John Navarrette – Dedicated to fostering economic growth and community well-being through his experience in business and local initiatives.
Lucy Johnson – Former mayor of Kyle, TX and former Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education, Lucy is a passionate advocate for education, community development, and policy initiatives that improve lives across Central Texas.
Non-Voting Agency Representative – Our agency representative will be appointed in Fall 2026 and will provide the Board with valuable insight into the needs, experiences, and impact of United Way’s funded partner agencies.
