As President & CEO of United Way of Hays & Caldwell Counties, Juan Miguel Arredondo is leading efforts to expand community impact, build strategic partnerships, and increase resources for local nonprofits. A lifelong advocate for education, equity, and public service, Juan Miguel is passionate about leveraging relationships and fundraising to support the incredible work already happening across Hays and Caldwell Counties.
A San Marcos native and proud Texas State University graduate, Juan Miguel brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, public policy, and community engagement. Before joining United Way, he served as Chief of Staff to State Representative Erin Zwiener and has served for more than a decade as an elected trustee on the San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees. His deep understanding of the local community helps guide United Way's work and strengthen partnerships throughout the region he calls home.
Under his leadership, United Way is focused on growing its impact and increasing investments in education, financial stability, health, and essential community services throughout Hays and Caldwell Counties.
